The food here is absolutely delicious and tastes so authentic! As an Indonesian, I feel right at home in this heavenly place. There’s a wide variety on the menu, and the prices are quite reasonable for the generous portions you get. Plus, the staff is super friendly and are more than happy to accommodate our dietary requests. It’s a lovely experience all around!

R18 and R1, satay chicken were also really good. I liked the sambal terasi. Think I prefer my sambal sweet. Hit the spot for south East Asian cravings!

I ate lunch for the first time today at Sumatera and this was my 2nd time trying Indonesian food. The place was small, but very cozy. The people were so friendly and answered any questions I had. The best part was the food, which was an explosion of flavors and textures! Thankfully, I live close by and I plan to be a regular customer. I can't wait to go back and try different dishes. Indonesian food isn't well known, but it's fast becoming one of my favorite cuisines!

We had the bunkgus bagus with fish, and had to try rendang and satay cuz that’s what we know about SEA food. Amazing execution, I especially love the kale with curry, and the spicy shrimp paste pack so much flavor. Waiting for my Chindol while I write this.

I came here for dinner and ordered the Mie Seafood soup noodle and Thai iced tea. The soup broth and noodles were very delicious. The Thai iced tea was perfect level of sweetness for my taste (not too sweet). The waitresses were very nice and attentive the whole time. I left feeling full and very satisfied.

I've been several times to this place at this point, and I can confidently say that this is a gem. The space itself is small, and while it is nice inside, it can be cramped and loud. What can be helped is helped, though -- service is nice and receptive to alterations, and the area is clean. The food itself is really great. The menu's big, but there's recommended menu items that are very good for those who don't know what to get. It's also halal, which isn't a big deal for me, but is for any Muslims, obviously. There's a surcharge on any credit card payments, but not on Zelle or Venmo, so use those when you go. This place is consistently good, and I hope to come many times more!

One of the best Indonesian restaurants I’ve ever visited! We tried their Batagor, their crispy Kulit, their complete Mie Ayam, and their Nasi Goreng Kepiting. Everything was so good, well-seasoned, and balanced! The employees are also very welcoming and warm. If you’re around, give this place a visit!

This restaurant offers authentic Indonesian cuisine that is halal, providing a delightful dining experience. The staff is friendly and attentive, enhancing the overall atmosphere. The portions are generous, and the prices are reasonable, making it a great value for money. A must-try dish is the satey ayem, which is served with an exceptional sauce that truly elevates the flavor.
